Hei Toki Piwaiwaka Bone inlay

Hei means “to be worn around the neck”.

Toki/Adze: Represents strength, guidance, protection, courage, determination, focus and was often displayed by people of authority (māori elders)

Piwaiwaka: are messengers who bring them to us from our loved ones who have passed.
