Double sided Manaia

A Manaia is a guardian, this spiritual piece is thought to protect the wearer from evil bringing balance and protection. It has the head of a bird, body of a man and tail of a fish representing the sky, earth and sea. Often times they can include three fingers representing birth, life and death.

This Manaia has a whale tail on one side which is seen as a symbol of good luck, speed, strength, freedom and joy within.
